2024 Wireless and Drone Technology

In 2024, students built LoRa (Low-Power Long-Range) transceivers with Meshtastic firmware and manufactured Yagi, Dipole, and Vertical antennas to test their effectiveness. Students also learned about Drone technology.

Each student took home their own wireless transceiver and drone.

2023 Numbers Stations and Cryptography

In 2023, Mainline Education Foundation hosted a STEM camp on cryptography and “numbers stations”. Students constructed dipole antennas with the support of DX Engineering. WKBN covered the camp in its evening news broadcast.
