Serving Underserved Communities with Technology Education
We have operated a community comptuer lab in Transfer, PA since 2011.
We have led annual STEM camps and programs in Youngstown, OH since 2017.
We teach about computer history through our vintage computer museum exhibit.
Mainline Education Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2011 to serve under-served communities with access to STEM education and computing resources.
Since the early 2000s, Mainline Education Foundation has operated a community computer lab in the Reynolds West Estates affordable housing complex in Transfer, PA. The computer lab has provided computer and Internet access, technology education, and technology support to children and adults for more than two decades.
Mainline Education Foundation has led STEM education camps and programs for under-resourced students in Youngstown, OH since 2017.
Mainline Education Foundation also supports amateur radio education through integration of radio technology in its STEM education programming, volunteer examining, and participation in the Mercer County Amateur Radio Club (MCARC).
Mainline Education Foundation has promoted technology education through its vintage computer museum display, which it has shared with students and community members in Youngstown, OH, Harmony, PA, and Pittsburgh, PA.
Mainline Education Foundation specializes in computer science education and its principals have taught AP Computer Science Principles as well as a variety of college-level computer science courses online.
Mainline Education Foundation offers technology consulting and application development for a variety of educational institutions and organizations, from K-12 schools to higher education.
